Job summary

Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is seeking a Special Events Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of non-sport events at BMO Stadium. You will serve as the primary liaison between clients, event partners, and internal stadium departments to deliver world-class experiences.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in events (stadiums or similar environments), strong organizational and communication skills, vendor coordination, and the ability to manage budgets and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Sports & Entertainment Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in events, preferably in stadiums, arenas, or large venues.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of non-sport events at BMO Stadium from concept to breakdown.
• Coordinate weekly internal meetings with Operations, Guest Experience, Security, F&B, and other departments.
• Conduct client site visits, planning meetings, and event advances to ensure seamless execution.
• Create event plans, diagrams, room layouts, and other event documents.
• Ensure information is accurate and shared with all departments in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with venue departments to meet client expectations and standards.
• Ensure compliance with stadium policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, communicate, and manage event estimates and final settlements; manage a full-time Event Coordinator.
• Cross-train and provide support for other stadium events as needed.
