Qualifications

• Experience operating janitorial and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work with others and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Willingness to perform a variety of routine cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist university special events by providing support before, during and after events.
• Sweep, mop, buff floors and vacuum rugs and carpets as needed.
• Support floor care including restoring, maintaining, and refinishing floors.
• Wash windows, walls, and other assigned areas.
• Clean restrooms, offices, and replenish supplies.
• Maintain stock and supplies for the proper performance of duties.
• Shovel and remove snow and ice from designated areas.
