University of Utah is seeking a Special Events Coordinator to manage day-to-day event parking operations and communications. You will process online requests, emails, and phone inquiries while coordinating with multiple divisions on work orders and ensuring policies are followed.

The role focuses on data recording, staff scheduling, and reporting for university events, with opportunities to collaborate across departments and support leadership. Campus presence is required.

Qualifications

  • Three years related parking enforcement experience, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); a valid Utah's Driver's License; and demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills required.
  • Must be able to pass a background review.
  • This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients.
  • Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

  • Interdepartmental collaboration to ensure University & Commuter Services policy and Procedures are being met.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Coordinates daily Special Events Parking efforts, processes Online requests forms, emails, and collaborates with other divisions with work orders. Acts as the main point of contact for event parking needs. Collaborates with direct supervisor(s) and other departmental leadership.

Responsibilities
