Job summary

Whiskey Reds in Marina Del Rey, CA is seeking a Special Events Captain to directly supervise the events assigned, overseeing planning, setup, execution and teardown to ensure flawless results.

You will lead banquet staff, coordinate with planners and clients, and set up rooms according to specifications while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and safety standards. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience as a Banquet Captain or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of banquet and event planning processes.
• Familiarity with food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail knowledge.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
