Qualifications

• Experience facilitating and coordinating IEP-related meetings and annual reviews.
• Ability to oversee development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Familiarity with pre-referral and screening processes and SST/PBIS teams when appropriate.
• Knowledge of state and federal Special Education regulations and DESE monitoring requirements.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Special Education leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates team meetings for annual reviews and initial/evaluations.
• Oversees IEP development and coordination among teachers and service providers.
• Coordinates Special Education services and communicates with building principals.
• Monitors timelines for evaluation reports and review forms.
• Ensures compliance with local/state/federal regulations and DESE monitoring.
