Shema Kolainu – Hear Our Voices in Brooklyn seeks dedicated Full-Time Teacher Assistants to support classroom teachers, implement IEPs, and help students reach developmental goals.

You will collaborate with therapists, participate in lesson planning, and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment while gaining hands-on ABA training.

The role offers a structured schedule with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• College credits or a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with autism or special needs a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children grow and succeed.
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Special Education Teacher in daily classroom operations.
• Provide instructional support and behavioral guidance to students.
• Work with students individually and in small groups.
• Participate in lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
• Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary team members.
• Support development and documentation of IEPs.
• Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administration.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
