Job summary

Learn Academy is seeking a Special Education Teacher with Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe teaching certification to join our collaborative school team. You will support students with diverse learning needs by assessing abilities, developing IEPs, adapting instruction, and monitoring progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field.
• Arizona Special Education Credential or in certification program.
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, or intern student in program.
• Autism-specific or related certificate preferred.
• Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe teaching certification.
• Willing to implement safety measures per PCMA where needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement student IEPs and SDI.
• Administer instructional activities promoting meaningful learning.
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources for diverse learners.
• Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, BCBA, clinical specialists, and administrators.
