Job summary

Soliant Health seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the ABLES program in the South Shore/Boston area. This contract role focuses on tailored instruction for students with severe disabilities in a substantially separate setting.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Severe Disabilities Special Education certification (Moderate/Severe) required.
• Experience in substantially separate or intensive special education classrooms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction based on IEPs in ABLES.
• Adapt curriculum and materials to support students with severe needs.
• Implement positive behavior supports and specialized teaching techniques.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and general ed staff.
• Maintain progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
• Foster engagement and growth for students and families.
