Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for the PRIDE Program in Burbank, IL. The role supports HS Science under the AERO Coop and involves collaboration with IEP teams to deliver individualized instruction from EC to age 22.

Responsibilities include case management, developing IEPs, and preparing detailed reports while using classroom technology to document progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Illinois LBSI or Professional Educator License required.
• Experience with IEP processes and case management preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and to prepare technical reports for meetings.

Duties

AERO Special Education Cooperative in Burbank, IL, is hiring full-time Special Education Teachers. Positions include teachers at the elementary, high school, and post high school grade levels.

Our new therapeutic center offers a collaborative environment for Special Education Teachers to work with IEP teams and fellow SPED Teachers in the same grade band and program. AERO supports students from EC to age 22, allowing teachers to engage in whole classroom activities, 1:1 sessions, and small group activities in the classroom and around the school building. The center's design includes breakout spaces for more personalized learning. Teachers are provided computers and technology for teaching and report/documentation completion. AERO also provides assessment tools, curriculum materials, other subscriptions, communication supports, and related service supports from case load social workers, speech/language pathologists, OT/PT, nurses, and BCBAs or Behavior Intervention Specialists.
