Pediatric Developmental Services is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team and support students in an amazing school environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required.
• Special Education Certificate per AZ DOE requirements.
• Arizona Teaching Licensure required.
• Specific certifications such as Early Childhood Education Certificate or Cross Category Specialist where applicable.
• Experience with IEP writing and meetings.
• Experience working with K-12 students.

Responsabilités

• Create and execute IEPs for students in your care.
• Communicate progress and challenges with staff and families.
• Prepare and submit detailed lesson plans for approval.
• Participate in scheduled IEP meetings.
• Use individualized reinforcement to support student progress.
• Invite family members to participate in progress updates.
• Create and distribute quarterly progress reports.
• Coordinate with on-site therapists on behavioral issues.
• Maintain a safe, productive classroom environment.
