Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide quality services to special education students from kindergarten through grade 12. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you'll participate in planning and implementing student programs, including special instruction and consultation with general education staff.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree and valid state teaching certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12.
• Participate in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction.
• Consult with general education staff.

Education

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching
