Qualifications

• Current IL ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS I) endorsement in Special Education.

Responsibilities

• Administers classroom and individual instruction in the assigned subject area.
• Develops curricula for each assigned teaching subject.
• Develops examination tools to measure student strengths, weaknesses and progress.
• Prepares and keeps records on attendance, achievement and progress.
• Directs students in recreational, social or other activities.
• Attends teacher and counselor meetings, team meetings and staff development.
• Performs other duties within the scope of duties listed.
