Qualifications

• Arizona State Certification in Special Education is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field with two years of K–8 teaching experience.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with IEPs.
• Develop, monitor, and update IEP goals.
• Differentiate instruction for varying levels.
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress, services, and IEP requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences.
• Create a structured, positive classroom environment.
• Utilize PBIS and behavior supports to aid development.
