Job description

Make a meaningful impact as a special education teacher supporting elementary and middle school students in a dynamic contract role. Youll step into a welcoming environment focused on structured support, collaboration, and student success. This full-time position runs through May 28, 2027, with regular weekday hours.

In the elementary setting, youll guide a small group of six students, all with mild behavioral needs and requiring some toileting assistance. Classroom support is robust, including both a dedicated teaching assistant and a behavior technician. The middle school classroom, based on a co-teaching model, has a caseload of eleven students, including one student with a feeding tube. The classroom team consists of three full-time teaching assistants as well as 1:1 support for specific students and an additional co-teacher, ensuring you can focus on each students individual needs.
