ProCare Therapy seeks a Special Education Teacher to support 3rd–5th grade students on a contract basis. You will deliver individualized and small-group instruction, implement IEPs, and collaborate with teachers and related services to meet diverse needs.

You will track progress, foster an inclusive classroom, and engage with families to support student growth. This role starts ASAP and runs through May 2027, offering stability and meaningful impact.

Qualifications

  • Current EC General Curriculum licensure is required.
  • Certified as Special Education Teacher or actively pursuing certification.
  • Experience with elementary-aged students preferred.
  • Strong understanding of resource, pull-out, and inclusion-based instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to maintain detailed documentation and monitor student progress.
  • Flexible and compassionate, with a passion for supporting student growth.

Job description

Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary-aged students as a Special Education Teacher on a contract basis, working with a dedicated group of 3rd to 5th graders. This position offers the opportunity to make a daily impact by providing specialized instruction and guidance to a class of 17 students, utilizing resource, pull-out, and inclusion models to meet diverse learning needs.

This role runs from ASAP through May 2027, providing consistency and ongoing support to students who thrive on stability. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, youll collaborate closely with colleagues and families, contributing to a positive school environment designed to empower every child.

Desired qualifications and experience:
