Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a dedicated special education teacher to diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps. You will collaborate with school teams and families to offer personalized guidance and deliver SESI's evidence-based learning models and PBIS framework CASE.

You will inspire, empower, and transform with our evidence-based approach, smaller class sizes, and a supportive work environment across our national network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and teaching credential are required.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse students to address learning, social, and emotional needs.
• Use SESI instructional models and PBIS CASE framework to teach and support students.
• Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management strategies and safety procedures as needed.
• Maintain student records including IEPs and BIPs.
• Track student growth toward academic and social-emotional goals.
• Supervise and monitor students during transit within the school.
