Job summary

Preferred candidates hold PA Teaching Certification and a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with prior teaching experience in special education.

• Experience teaching in special education settings preferred.
• PA Teaching Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Teacher will conduct special education programming to students identified for IEP-based services.
• Design and implement effective behavioral management plans in educational settings.
• Organize and deliver classroom services effectively.
• Collaborate with education and therapeutic staff for compliant implementation of requirements.
• Complete necessary paperwork, phone contacts and record keeping.
• Attend required meetings.
• Respond to emergency situations.
