Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare’s Soaring Heights School is actively seeking a dedicated teacher to provide special education programming for students with autism spectrum disorders or emotional support needs. You will design behavioral plans and collaborate with education and therapeutic staff to ensure effective service delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, experience in teaching, and preferably PA Teaching Certification with Special Education credentials.

Qualifications

PA Teaching Certification preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
Experience in teaching, preferably in special education.
Special Education Certification

Responsibilities

Design and implement effective behavioral management plans.
Organize and implement effective classroom delivery of services.
Work with education and therapeutic staff for proper implementation of special education requirements.
Complete all necessary paperwork, phone contacts and record keeping.
Attend meetings as required and respond to emergencies.
