Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Teaching License with endorsements in Special Education.
• Experience working with K-12 children is required.
• Strong collaboration with families and school staff is essential.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.
• Communicate progress and challenges with families and staff.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and obtain administrator approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school.
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to guide student progress.
• Invite family members to participate in educational progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
• Coordinate with on-site therapists regarding behavioral issues.
• Maintain a safe, productive classroom environment.
