Job summary

MyPath is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join The Richardson School's Cudahy team in Wisconsin. The role focuses on developing and tracking IEP goals, delivering high-quality instruction, and collaborating with families and staff to support students with significant needs.

Bachelor's degree and Wisconsin DPI special education certification are required; experience with ASD, EBD or related disabilities preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Special Education certification (1801/1811/1830) required or eligible.
• Experience with ASD, cognitive delays, EBD, mental health, or related disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily lesson plans based on individual student needs.
• Develop and track IEP goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Establish a culture for learning and provide leadership to staff supporting the classroom.
• Utilize proactive behavior management aligned with MyPath models.
• Ensure environments conducive to independence and growth.
• Update Progress Reports per trimester/quarterly schedule.
