Qualifications

• Eligibility for or possession of Virginia Department of Education certification with SPED endorsement.
• Strong instructional, communication, and classroom management skills.
• Valid Virginia driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Virginia Standards of Learning and IEPs.
• Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs using evidence-based strategies.
• Collaborate with behavior specialists, therapists, and families to support progress.
• Assess student performance and adjust instruction to promote mastery and engagement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student data and compliance with state and school requirements.
