Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
• Eligibility for/possession of VDOE certification with endorsement in special education or adaptive curriculum
• Strong instructional, communication, and classroom management skills
• Valid Virginia driver’s license

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Virginia standards and IEPs
• Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs using evidence-based strategies and behavioral approaches
• Collaborate with behavior specialists, therapists, and families to support progress
• Assess student performance and adjust instruction to promote mastery and engagement
• Maintain accurate documentation of student data, progress, and compliance with state and school requirements
