Job summary

AB Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year in Minnesota. The position is 32.5 hours per week and follows the academic district calendar.

Responsibilities include developing individualized lesson plans, adapting curricula to IEPs, maintaining progress records, communicating with families, and collaborating with school staff to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from an accredited college or university.
• State of Minnesota teaching certificate with Special Education Endorsement.
• Experience with case management, paperwork, compliance, and IEPs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal special education regulations.
• At least one year of teaching experience with students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and programs tailored to students’ needs.
• Adapt curriculum based on IEPs and diverse learning styles.
• Maintain regular contact with parents and share progress updates.
• Create a safe, organized learning environment.
• Implement behavior management strategies for productive classrooms.
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to support student success.
• Engage in professional development and ensure regulatory compliance.
