Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time, on-site K-12 special education teacher in Minnesota for the 26/27 school year. The role focuses on designing and implementing instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals and requires active MN DOE certification.

You will collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families; monitor progress; maintain compliant documentation; and participate in IEP meetings and evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or special education.
• Active Minnesota DOE special education certification.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals.
• Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment supporting behavioral and academic success.
• Use evidence-based instructional and behavior management strategies.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Monitor student progress and maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reporting.
