The Austin Centers for Exceptional Students (ACES) in Westminster, CO seeks a Certified Special Education Teacher to deliver individualized instruction for students with disabilities under the direction of the campus Principal and Superintendent.

The role includes IEP development, progress assessment, and coordination with parents, districts, and TSS teams to ensure compliance with state mandates and district policies. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in teaching from an accredited institution in SPED area.
• CO Special Education Certification or Alternative SPED Certification (required).
• Current state teaching license in required content area or progress to CO cert/license.

Responsabilidades

• Assess student progress and adjust instructional techniques.
• Complete district and state reporting requirements.
• Coordinate delivery of special education services in each student’s IEP.
• Lead team meetings with TSS/para-pros and others on goals and strategies.
• Provide direction and supervision of educational assistants as directed.
• Employ research-based instructional methods to meet IEP goals.
