Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our staff in a dynamic school setting. You will create and execute IEPs, collaborate with staff and families, and plan engaging lessons tailored to each student’s needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working with K-12 children.

Responsabilités

• Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each student.
• Communicate with staff and family about each student's progress.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit them for administrator approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school.
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to support student progress.
• Invite family members to participate in educational progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
• Confer with on-site therapist regarding disciplinary and behavioral issues.
• Create a safe, productive classroom environment.
