Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a dedicated special education teacher in California.

You will work with diverse learners in in-district classrooms and stand-alone schools within SESI’s national network, addressing learning, social, and emotional needs to help each student shine. You will design skill-appropriate lesson plans, implement behavior strategies, and maintain IEPs/BIPs while collaborating with families and school teams for ongoing student

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models and curricula to teach and build confidence.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies to maintain safety.
• Maintain student documents: IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, high-risk forms.
• Drive, record and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise and monitor students during school transitions.
