Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a dedicated special education teacher to diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps in K-12 students within in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will collaborate with school teams to deliver SESI’s evidence-based learning models, implement PBIS strategies, and provide targeted support to shine for every learner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid PEL W/LBS1 Endorsement Required.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models and curricula to teach knowledge and skills, nurture confidence, and meet student needs.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies, including de-escalation and crisis management to maintain safety.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and high-risk evaluation forms.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise and monitor students, including to and from locations within the school.
