Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking an ESE Teacher to collaborate with parents, students and regular education staff in support of student achievement. You will deliver specialized instruction, help develop IEPs with measurable goals, and coordinate inclusion strategies within the general education classroom.

The ideal candidate holds a BA, State Certification in Special Education and HQ status, and brings experience with data collection, progress monitoring, and collaboration to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• State Certification in Special Education and HQ status in the subject areas and grades assigned
• Two areas of Exceptional Education preferred
• Background checks cleared

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and conduct parent and student conferences
• Provide specially designed instruction and collaboration with regular education teachers
• Develop, monitor and report IEPs with measurable goals
• Proctor standardized tests and maintain progress reports four times a year
• Maintain compliant special education data and related services documentation
• Participate in professional development and state trainings
• Communicate with teachers and administrators and participate in weekly meetings
