Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• State Certified in Special Education with HQ status.
• Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
• Excellent communication and instructional delivery skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and conduct parent and student conferences according to school policy.
• Deliver instruction using modalities instituted by the school and assigned program (e.g., direct/synchronous instruction, Life Skills support, co-teaching).
• Collect data and appropriate work samples.
• Plan and conduct appointments with parents as needed.
• Assist regular education teachers with specially designed instruction when necessary.
• Participate in monthly outings and support inclusion plans.
