Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support elementary and secondary students with emotional impairments in a specialized school program. You will plan an annual classroom syllabus and develop IEPs to achieve yearly goals, while collaborating with parents and staff to maximize learning.

You will maintain attendance, assess progress, issue grades, and ensure compliance with California regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree from an accredited institution; CTC credential required.
• Graduate degree (Master's) desirable; internship programs considered.
• Experience with emotionally/behaviorally disturbed students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement classroom syllabus and IEP development.
• Deliver daily lessons and monitor student progress against IEP objectives.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to support student performance and behavior.
• Maintain records and prepare grade reports in compliance with regulations.
• Attend meetings and participate in professional development.
