White Hall School District is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Under the general supervision of the School Principal and the Director of Special Services, the teacher will maximize the learning experience of students with special needs in academics, interpersonal skills, and activities of daily living by implementing district‑approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress; addressing students’ specific needs; and providing a safe and optimal learning environment.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
Use standard office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copier, fax machine, and telephone.
Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Works in standard office and school building environments.
Arkansas Certification/License: 230,258,184 – State certification as a Special Education Teacher.
Motor Vehicle Operator’s License or ability to provide own transportation.
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an education discipline applicable to teaching; Master’s Degree in Special Education (preferred).
Experience: Successful prior special education teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.
Applicants must pass an Arkansas State Police background check, an FBI background check, and a DHS background check.
