Job summary

SESI, a division of FullBloom, is seeking teachers certified in Special Ed or Gen Ed with an interest in adding the special ed endorsement to support K-12 students with diverse needs in Texas.

Use data-driven PBIS CASE models, collaborate with school teams and families, and develop individualized instructional plans to promote student growth.

Posted salary range USD $60,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k) with match, and robust professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid teaching certification (general education or special education)
• Willingness to add a special education endorsement to the general education certification
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback
• Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic educational environment

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Teach knowledge and skills, nurture confidence and character, and provide individualized attention.
• Use assessment data to modify short- and long-term plans to promote academic performance.
• Develop and maintain skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Collaborate with team members to foster critical thinking and academic rigor.
• Apply behavior support/intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and safety measures as needed.
• Track student growth and maintain required forms/files.
• Participate in daily school functions, conferences, meetings, and trainings.
