Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking teachers certified in general education or special education with a desire to add the special ed endorsement. The role supports K-12 students requiring additional academic and behavioral supports, partnering with districts across a large network.

Expect comprehensive training, credentialing support, and a suite of benefits. As a SESI educator, you will use data-driven instructional models and individualized plans to promote student growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid teaching certification (general or special education).
• Willingness to add special education endorsement to general certification.
• Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach a diverse group of students with varied developmental, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Provide individualized attention to meet each student’s needs.
• Use assessment data to adjust short- and long-term instructional plans.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans aligned to goals.
• Collaborate with team to maintain high academic rigor and behavior support.
• Apply PBIS and CASE frameworks to guide instruction and behavior.
• Manage safety: de-escalation, crisis management, and safe student handling when needed.
• Track student growth and maintain required documentation and files.
• Participate in daily school functions, conferences, and trainings.
