Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking teachers certified in general education or special education with a desire to add the special ed endorsement to join our in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will use SESI’s instructional models and CASE framework to support diverse learners, track progress, and collaborate with families to drive outcomes. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; valid teaching certification (general or special education)
• Willingness to add special education endorsement to general education certification
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic educational environment

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Teach knowledge and skills, nurture confidence and character, provide individualized attention.
• Use assessment data to modify short- and long-term plans to promote academic progress.
• Develop and maintain skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Collaborate with team members to foster critical thinking and rigor.
• Apply behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and safety measures as needed.
• Track student growth and maintain required forms/files.
• Participate in daily school functions, meetings, and training.
