Onward Edu client in Massachusetts is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support behavior support classrooms in Worcester County for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is on-site at a school location and serves students needing a highly structured learning environment.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction and classroom support for students with emotional or behavioral disorders, implementing structured behavioral interventions, teaching coping strategies and social skills,

Qualifications

• Special education teaching background appropriate for working with students with emotional or behavioral disorders.
• Ability to implement structured behavioral interventions in a classroom setting.
• Experience supporting student coping strategies and social skills development.
• Familiarity with PBIS and/or other evidence-based behavioral methods.
• Ability to work effectively with students whose behavioral needs impact learning in less-structured environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and classroom support for students with emotional or behavioral disorders in a structured setting.
• Implement structured behavioral interventions to help students access learning successfully.
• Teach and reinforce coping strategies that support student self-regulation and participation.
• Build and support student social skills through consistent routines and guided practice.
