About The Role

This position is based at Great Salt Bay School and involves working with a diverse group of students in grades Pre K through 4. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. The majority of our students are supported in inclusive settings, and you will play a key role in ensuring their success within the general education framework.

Key Details
  • Collaborative Environment: You will work alongside the school’s Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and numerous experienced paraprofessionals to support student needs.

  • The teacher contract offers a generous salary and benefits. The district will pay 99% of health insurance (single) and 85% (family) with other varying options depending on your unique situation. Special Educators also receive a generous stipend. All IEP meetings are scheduled by an administrative assistant. There is a dedicated and experienced special education director who is devoted purely to this one school building.

We are committed to your professional journey. Join a team that values continuous learning through collaborative PLCs, access to district-provided training, and direct mentorship from our BCBA and experienced special education leadership.
