Saco School Department is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction for students with disabilities in grades K-2. The teacher will develop individualized educational programs and collaborate with families and staff to ensure appropriate services are delivered.

Under the general supervision of the Building Principal and Director of Special Education, the Special Education Teacher provides specialized instruction to students with disabilities in grades Kindergarten through Second Grade. The teacher develops and implements individualized educational programs designed to support students' academic, behavioral, social‑emotional, communication, and functional needs. The Special Education Teacher collaborates with families, educational technicians, related service providers, and general education staff to ensure students receive appropriate services and access to the curriculum in the least restrictive environment.
