Onward Education is partnering with a school in Dakota County, MN to hire two dedicated Special Education Teachers for the 2026/2027 school year. This on-site contract role supports Elementary School students across resource room and center-based classrooms.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience working with diverse populations or commitment to supporting diverse learners.
• Ability to work effectively in a specialized special education environment.
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices and collaboration with school-based teams.
• Current teaching license in ASD or EBD, or willingness to obtain an Out of Field license.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialized instruction and support to elementary students in a specialized SPED setting.
• Resource and center-based classroom support, ASD preferred.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary school-based support team to promote student success.
• Deliver individualized support in small-class settings to meet diverse student needs.
• Build strong relationships with students while supporting positive behavior and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current teaching license in ASD or EBD, or an active license in another subject area with willingness to obtain an Out of Field license.
• Experience working with diverse populations, or demonstrated commitment to supporting diverse learners.
• Ability to work effectively in a specialized special education environment supporting student behavioral and learning needs.
