Job summary

SSWAA is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Maricopa, Arizona. Earn up to $57/hr based on experience and work 40 hours per week in a school setting.

Responsibilities include developing individualized instruction, implementing IEPs, supporting student progress, collaborating with families and staff, and maintaining progress documentation. Required: Bachelor's in Special Education with state certification and 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid state licensure for special education.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in special education or related setting.
• Ability to work a 40-hour week in a school setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction aligned with students' goals.
• Create, implement, and monitor individualized education plans.
• Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and developmental progress.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and service providers to coordinate support.
• Maintain documentation and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
