Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in White Bluff, TN is seeking an Exceptional Education Teacher to support students with individualized instruction, develop IEPs, and foster inclusive learning environments in a collaborative, therapist-led team.

You will work with a supportive district partner, implement tailored instructional strategies for diverse learners, and maintain compliant progress reporting and documentation throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• TN certification for Special Education Teaching with Interventionist or Comprehensive Endorsement
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects
• Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
