The Township of Union Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and qualified Special Education Teacher

REQUIRED:

• NJDOE Certification Required: Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) OR Teacher of the Handicapped certification (TOH) required
• If TOSD - Certification required in content area
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction, functional academics, social-emotional learning, communication supports, and behavior management strategies.
• Familiarity with principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Commitment to promoting student independence, self-advocacy, inclusion, and transition readiness.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with TOH or multiple subject area certifications for grades 6-12 are highly encouraged to apply

SALARY RANGE:

$70,500 - $100,904 in accordance with the UTEA Agreement based on education and experience
