Burlington County Special Services School District seeks a compassionate Teacher of Special Education to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate in either Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities and demonstrate a strong interest in supporting students ages 18-21.

Position Summary

BCSSSD is seeking a compassionate and qualified Teacher of Special Education to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate in either Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities and demonstrate a strong interest in supporting students ages 18-21. Candidates should have experience or a high interest in working with culturally diverse learners and students with behavioral challenges, using strategies such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or similar instructional approaches.

Qualifications

• NJDOE Instructional Certificate (Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities) - required
• Experience working with students ages 18-21 - preferred
• Knowledge of ABA or similar behavioral instructional strategies

Salary & Benefits

• Annual Salary Range: $64,064 - $82,487 (commensurate with education and experience)
