Union High School in Union Township Public Schools seeks dedicated Leave Replacement Special Education Teachers. Roles are anticipated from 11/9/2026 to 4/6/2027 and 11/1/2026 to 6/30/2027 to cover classrooms in need.

Certification in TOSD or TOH is required, with preference for TOH or multiple subject area certifications for grades 6-12. Salary ranges reflect education and experience and includes standard district benefits.

Qualifications

• NJDOE Certification in TOSD or TOH is required (content area certification if TOSD).
• Knowledge and understanding of student learning standards.

The Township of Union Public Schools is seeking dedicated, knowledgeable, and qualified Leave Replacement Special Education Teachers

Required:

• NJDOE Certification Required: Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) OR Teacher of the Handicapped certification (TOH) required
• • If TOSD - Certification required in content area
• Knowledge and understanding of student learning standards
• Great communication skills
• Strong classroom management skills
• Candidates with TOH or multiple subject area certifications for grades 6-12 are highly encouraged to apply

Salary Range:

$70,500 - $100,904 in accordance with the UTEA Agreement based on education and experience
