AACTE is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a self-contained autism program in Tempe, AZ. The role focuses on designing IEPs, applying visual supports, and maintaining compliant documentation to support students with moderate adaptive and cognitive needs.

Strong experience with autism, behavior management, and collaboration with families is essential. Immediate start through May 27, 2027 with full-time hours.

Formación

• Valid Arizona Special Education Certification (ADE), preferably MILD/MOD certification.
• Valid driver’s license and Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Social Security Card and a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or equivalent.
• Experience working with students who have autism and strong visuals understanding.
• Ability to write compliant IEPs and manage classroom behavior effectively.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Full-time hours: 8 hours paid per day during student session times.
