Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Gurnee, IL, for a full-time role in Woodland School District. The position offers pay up to $60 per hour and 0.8 FTE or higher.

You will provide academic support to students with IEPs in a self-contained classroom, develop individualized instructional strategies, attend IEP meetings, and monitor progress while collaborating with school teams.

• Valid Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement.
• Fingerprinting and background check required before start.

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time position for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year in Gurnee, IL.

Position Details

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday
Start Date: August 2026
Location: Woodland School District

Role Details: Elementary School K-2nd grade
Service Area: Instructional support, IEP collaboration, progress monitoring
