Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work in a kindergarten self-contained autism program. This role focuses on designing IEPs and using visual supports to support students with autism.

The candidate will collaborate with families and colleagues, maintain compliant documentation, and foster an inclusive classroom that promotes engagement. A valid AZ ADE certification and fingerprint clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona ADE Special Education Certification, preferably MILD/MOD.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Driver’s license and Social Security Card.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or equivalent.
• Experience with autism and strong visuals understanding.
• Ability to write compliant IEPs and manage behavior.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• CPI certification (ideal but not required before start date).
