Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a High School Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Forest Lake, MN. This in-person, full-time role serves grades 9–12 with a 7:15–3:15 schedule and pays $45–$55 per hour.

You will develop and implement IEP goals, collaborate with school teams, support at-risk students, and maintain thorough documentation while participating in meetings. Minnesota SPED licensure is required and licensure sponsorship is possible if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or related field required.
• Active Minnesota Special Education license through PELSB required.
• District open to sponsoring out-of-permission licensure if needed.
• Previous classroom experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
