Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Eugene, OR. This in-person, full-time role (37.5 hours weekly) focuses on Life Skills for 3rd–5th grade students and requires an active Oregon SPED license.

We offer competitive pay of $45-50/hour, W-2 employment with benefits, 401(k) matching, licensure reimbursement, mileage reimbursements, and ongoing mentorship from school-based professionals.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Special Education Teacher license.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field.
• Previous classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
