• Provide instruction in all core academic areas in assigned grade (literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies) following district curriculum, setting high and attainable outcomes.
• Design and use assessment data to monitor progress of all students towards established standards, maintaining accurate records.
• Create an environment of respect and rapport that establishes a culture of learning.
• Manage classroom procedures and student behavior.
• Communicate with students and their families.
• Collaborate with other educators within the school and across the District.
• Implement 504 and IEP accommodations and modifications.
• Actively participate within the professional community, growing professionally, reflecting on teaching and demonstrating professionalism.
• Follow District policies and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the principal.

WORK YEAR: 187 day / school year position

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Conway School Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel. The principal and/or administrative designee will be the evaluator.
